The Audience Juries of the 20th Gwanghwamun International Short Film Festival (GISFF) Recruitment
Dear MovieBloc Community,
The 20th Gwanghwamun International Short Film Festival (GISFF), the first international-competitive short film festival in South Korea, is looking for people who want to join the Audience Juries of the 20th GISFF.
The juries will be the first reviewers of the films on the GISFF website and vote for the best shorts of the festival in the second preliminary round, and receive a small pack of rewards to appreciate the efforts. If you have a passion for watching shorts and independent films, please do not hesitate to submit your application.
- Activities
1) Join the preliminary second screening of The 20th Gwanghwamun International Short Film Festival
2) After watching the allocated shorts for each jury, fill out the evaluation form
2. Qualifications
The application is open to anyone over 18 who can read English subtitles, but not a supervisor and related person (film distributors, crew, etc.) who submitted their shorts to the 20th GISFF.
*Notice: you will be required to write all reviews in English.
3. Rewards for the Audience Juries
1) $500 (USD) in cryptocracy (MBL) per person
2) A letter of appointment from GISFF (PDF)
3) Credit as an audience jury for GISFF
4) About $1000 (USD) in cryptocracy (MBL) and an award certificate for the best jury (PDF)
*Payment and withdrawal methods will be individually notified to the successful applicants.
4. Application Schedule and Contract Date
1) Application Period: May 2, 2022 12:00 am (KST) ~ May 15, 2022, 11:59 pm (KST)
2) Screening: May 16, 2022 ~ May 18, 2022
3) Announcement: May 19, 2022 (Time TBC.)
4) The Contract Period: May 24, 2022 ~ June 10, 2022
5) Payment Date: June 13, 2022

*All the process of screening, notification will be conducted online (ex: Facebook messenger, email)
